Tredegar Surface Protection’s Pottsville plant recently received the Green Champion Certificate for diverting its waste to a Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility during 2023. The certificate recognizes the environmental benefits of choosing the WTE technology: 1) generating renewable energy to help power the local community, and 2) avoiding the CO2 emissions created from traditional landfill disposal. This is just one example of the Pottsville team’s commitment to sustainability.
